Thor Review... The Good and Bad

I used Aleens tacky dots... It works well and it's not permanent.

I tried the tack stuff, but the tack just smears all over the hair while the tack is not strong enough to hold the helmet on properly

Do you mind me asking how you attached the helmet? Did you glue it on? For the EMCE retro Thor, I was thinking about buying a repro Thor helmet from Dr. Mego's site as I'm pretty sure it has the peg on the inside and then just making a small hole in the top of retro Thor's head in order to attach it.

used gel super Glue on the inside of the helmet.The helmet won't sit on his head properly without doing so.....I might do that with the classic Thor too...I mean,there really is no need to remove the helmet anyway.

I like classic Thor( with box ) and the new Thor suit seems pretty good , but not liking the sculpt on the new head. This is still the best of my 3 sets and has cool stuff
for customs. I am waiting to order an FTC blonde Conan head for new Thor but I might use the new Thor head to make another figure like Longshot or Kazar.

The classic Thor looks good but he stays in the box. Not liking new Thor head so I am replacing with blonde Conan head (5.00 at FTC)

Thanks! Would the Blake head do okay on a Mego body as well? I don't mind the Type S bodies, but still.

You can use the Blake ahead on a Mego or Doc Body. It will work fine.
