So, this is weird...
I went to put my EMCE ST collection up on the wall for display, and discovered that since the last time I'd pulled the collection out my Pike figure's case had gone completely yellow! (see below)
Pike (yellowed case) and Salt Vampire.jpg
Now the odd thing about this is that it was stored in exactly the same conditions as the other EMCE ST figures: stacked on top of a bookcase with other figures, no direct sunlight hitting it at all, no extreme temperature fluctuation. And Pike was between other figures whose cases are still crystal clear...including the Salt Vampire.
I'm baffled. So maybe they changed the material they were making cases from? But in that case, wouldn't the Salt Vampire, who came out at the same time, also have turned yellow?
Maybe the place I bought Pike from stored it in some non-ideal conditions, and it just took a while for the damage to set in. But I kind of doubt it.
Anybody else had this happen to any of their EMCE figures?
