Updated Spidey is on a red body? (Note: collar line.)
Over all, from the pics so far, this set looks great to me. Sure, I wish the updated suit had darker line work, and the glasses were a touch smaller. Nevertheless, these glasses do lend well for a 'Ditko-look' on that Parker head. Now I got to come up with another $80. How did that happen? I wasn't even going to collect this series!Comment

^^^ Me Too! I'm so SO confused! This has been 1 heck of an Emotional Rollercoaster!
I do admit the new pics are better than the original FB pics, but I'll wait to see if this set ever hits clearance prices closer to >$50 to consider.
The Repro Spidey I'd buy alone tho!Comment

Brian Cotter's review bothered me too at first. I was afraid that something got messed up in production,
but once I saw the set in person at Amok Time Toys, I felt foolish for letting a guy who was kicked off
the Museum for being a pyscho, make me doubt.Comment

After I got a set myself, I realized that Brian Cotter took distorted pictures and ripped the sweater putting it on - but failed to mention any of that.Comment

Yup! Holding it in my hands at the Comic shop completely changed my mind. Still worried about the painted on flesh on Peter Parker, but I just ordered a couple of your bodies with screw torso to avoid scratching the paint off.sigpicComment

Two questions:
1) What bodies would you recommend for the extra heads and clothing? DocMego's Swivel-arm buff body?
2) Is there room in the box to store the other figures, dressed in the other outfits?
Mine is on the way and should arrive in a few days.
Thanks for any help.Comment

Not trying to be contrary, but I used a box-cutter knife to cut the perforated edges of the plastic tray that holds the accessories in place, and when I was done with my photo shoot, I put everything back into the box (not in their original spots, obviously) and put the lid on it. It's still pretty solid, and I'm not planning on getting rid of it.
I am not 100% positive I could get three fully dressed Mego bodies in there (one being in the repro box), but I think so.Comment

I have all 3 on bodies back in the box with the Plastic that holds the pieces in place still in there that I am not using and they all Fit, When i get home I will snap a pic.
I used a Type S body for my Parker and My Brother used a Mego Type 2 body, his Parker looks better dressed than my Parker. but both will work.Last edited by Bronxboykev; Feb 9, '15, 10:24 AM.Comment
