I want Mego X-Men! 2015 is 40th anniversary of 1975 New X-Men!

I always wished there had been Mego X-Men especially the 1975 New X-Men which I own Marvel Select figures of!

What DST/EMCE Mego X-Men sets do you think are possible in addition to Wolverine?

I would like ORIGINAL 5 1963 X-Men in their 1st black and yellow costumes, 2nd individual looks, and Modern!

New X-Men- Storm, Colossus, and Nightcrawler in their 1st 1975 Dave Cockrum costumes for sure! Besides Storm what other costumes are there for Peter and Kurt?

Rogue has had many looks! And Kitty Pryde!

That's why some X-Men and other Marvel characters might miss out because they have to be HEAVY HITTERS for $80 and the limitations of 3-packs.

Jean Grey is my most wanted of the X-Men after Wolverine! Jean is arguably Marvel's #1 female character! She's been Marvel Girl, Phoenix, and DARK Phoenix!

Like I said 2015 is 1975 New X-Men 40th anniversary and they are reason X-Men Days of Future Past is this summer's #1 movie!

Cyclops and Jean Grey would probably be the next most popular following Wolverine, I'm guessing, and both lend themselves to the format. The issue with the X-men is that there are so any of them that it's hard to make a pecking order. I prefer the 1975-80 characters followed by the original five or 6 including Xavier or 7 with Magneto.

But right now, I don't know if any of the XMen other than Wolverine are as popular as ironMan, Cap, or Thor. Maybe even Hulk. And with the price point the figures are at, who knows how deep the line will go.

There's also rumors that because Fox has the film rights to the Xmen, as well as the Fantastic Four, Marvel is not allowing or limiting licensed products of the characters leading up to the movies. Again that may just be a rumor.

Mego X-Men would be a dream come through! Wolverine is coming, but after that I really want Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Cyclops and Phoenix. Ow and Magneto... they need someone to fight :-)

Actually the original xmen could work. Iceman would be the only one that probably wouldn't be great because he hasn't really changed that much. You could easily do 3 versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Beast. Angel would be great if a 4 Horsemen, Archangel were possible too.

I think the three costume Mego format is perfect for capturing a cross section of different eras and appealing across demographics. With Cyclops and Jean Grey, You'd get the unified look of the original 5, the All New All Different era with Jean as Phoenix, and I'd say the Jim Lee/animated costumes. Arguably the look that the general public recognizes most in a nostalgic context now that 90's kids have come of age. Skip the Alter Egos.
