If it were Mego style 70s Rick Jones alter ego and updated 70s costume it would probably fit in. Jones technically was his alter ego in the 70s. Actually surprised he didn't happen with Mego, the character was pushed by Marvel at the time.

      Other female wants:

      Invisible Girl/Woman
      Phoenix Jean Grey
Spider-Woman Jessica Drew *who I have wanted Mego of since 1979 Spider-Woman cartoon!
      Storm- 1975 1st appearance costume
Black Widow- been in plenty of Marvel movies!
Great choices!! I want them all. And I also want a Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers (military outfit), mego and updated Ms.Marvel).

Black Widow is a great choice - she was perhaps the very best of the Famous Covers series back in the 90s. Not sure how you'd get three versions of BW - the classic look, the Miller look, and maybe the first appearance look?

Sounds like we won't see a Wolverine or Daredevil with three different costumes. They will all be the same as the standard set by the Cap and Spidey sets. At least that is what they have said the plan is.
I think it would be a shame if they stuck rigidly to that formula. the contract is 1 character/$80 price point. Within those parameters they can do anything they want. "Mego repro / updated version / alter ego" works for characters like Spider-Man, but for other characters, who have alter egos that no one cares about but lots of interesting looks for their superhero outfits, I would argue that "Mego-ish version / modern version with costume A / modern version with costume B" is a much better idea.

I was just reitterating what DST said the plan was. Don't know if they plan to stick to the plan, but I would assume at least for now they do.

Yeah, I could care less about the alter ego heads and accessories. It looks cool for Peter Parker and Steve Rogers but after that, most would be guys in lab coats or suits. Although now that I typed that, it would be cool to have a Tony Stark with a 5 o'clock shadow like the cover of Iron Man #128. And include the briefcase that holds the armor.
