Sounds cool. But now I can hear dreams being shattered.

So the license is they can produce three figures of the same character for $80, meaning they could do a brown suit wolverine, a yellow striped suit wolverine and a yellow and blue classic x-man wolverine.... but the plan is to do a Mego era version of wolverine, an updated costume wolverine and a secret identity logan type wolverine in the same way they did with Captain America and Spiderman. So the end result is the same, no matter what character is going to be produced, what we will see is a mego era version, an updated version and a secret identity. You couldn't see for example an iron man set with war machine, classic iron man and stealth armor iron man. The plan is to follow the exact same formula as cap and spiderman.

Appears that way. Which isn't a bad thing.
When I used to customize Megos back in 2007-2010, I used the philosophy of "What Would Mego Do?". It was fun. But I can see where people would want comic book accurate Megos.

        What about characters like:

Jean Grey- Marvel Girl, Phoenix, and Dark Phoenix? Same character 3 IDs?

Spider-Woman- All 3 women who have shared Spider-Woman name?

These are 2 main female sets I want and hope they can be made under guidelines!

Based on what's been said, no. One would have to be a Mego version of Phoenix, a comic accurate Phoenix, and a Jean Grey secret ID.

No. We've already been told it has to be the same character, not the same name.

These license restrictions will be tricky! Some characters do not even have a secret ID or plain clothes will not appeal to kids! And a modern detailed figure and a dumbed down Mego version? Would females be baby faced like Super Gals? And a Barbie fashion dress for female alter ego? I want females but they may be difficult to do! Someone suggested spacesuits for Fantastic 4 alter egos from F4 #1 which is a fantastic idea!

Yeah I really want Thor and Iron Man next! Green Goblin can work! Don't know how Hulk can be done. I want entire Fantastic 4, too!

                  Yeah, there aren't 3 figures. There's 1.

                  There's 3 heads and 3 costumes however.

The license is 1 figure, 1 character, $80.

sorry if i had mentioned this before, but daredevil would be a good choice, red suit, matt murdock, and First Appearance yellow suit.wolverine i can see being classic yellow and blue, byrne brown, and logan(and/or also perhaps First Appearance whiskers mask). mego thor,a modern thor and simonson bearded thor,i doubt if they would do a don blake as he hasn't really been part of the thor mythos in a while.

Daredevil and Thor would be great. Iron Man would certainly work. Perhaps Spiderwoman and She-Hulk for the females. The Marvel Heros have all underwent custom updates over the years, and most of them have secret identies or human aliases. I see no limits. I hope this line continues and we see tons of new Marvel Megos. I don't like the snails pace of product coming out, I hope we see monthly releases.

I like how you keep saying this but the guy that actually works for DST says different.

Please repost a quote where Zach says the license requires 3 figures.

In the quote you posted, he's saying that the license states it can only be 1 character in the set.

The license allows for a premium format figure of $80. If the license was for 3 figures, there would be 3 bodies. There is only 1 body because the license is for 1 figure. The extra heads and costumes are considered accessories, not figures.

I already did. Read the quote. He's probably using "figures" instead of "heads" or "character".

That quote does not say the license requires 3 figures. If the license required 3 figures, it would have to allow 3 bodies.

Dude, we all know that we're not getting 3 figures in one package. I don't know why you keep harping on this.
The license as Zach has stated says that the 3 characters have to be the same. It has to be 3 Captain America, it can't be 2 Captain America and 1 U.S. Agent.
