Penny Dreadful BBP figures - What is the status?

Initially I was also wondering what the mystery figures were from BBP

Now after seeing the first episode I see that Penny Dreadful is a supernatural tv show in the style of
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Quite cool (but rather not safe for work)

I'm hooked. I think the Steampunk, Goth & Horror fans will dig it.

Does anyone know if the figures are going into production?

I mean besides the coolness of the show there IS that Bowler hat on the Ethan figure
AND who wouldn't want an Eva Green figure?

That female head needs to be shrunk!

The color is too pale and sickly, and the molded hair is a turn off.

The dress is okay though.

I believe the female is a vampire or has been bitten by one or is the daughter of one, which explains the color, but you're right the head is way too big.

rather enjoyed the show. The figures are a cool concept and I hope they make it to production with one addition. Monsters, please.

I have just watch the preview to the series, and yes it does feel like you are watching what should have been the LOEG. This series is going to be good and now more than ever I want the figures.

Just watched the first episode, about to slap the second one on, seriously this is looking very promising. Certainly some good monster figures could come out of this show.

After having read about how vinyl shrinks in the mold, I'm no longer turned off by the looks of "big headed" prototypes, since most as resin castings (which do not shrink.)

Dear BBP: what is it with your bobble-headed figures?

I'm with you. I would probably collect BBP more but I just can't get past the over-sized heads. Totally ruins the figure for me. I have some of the SMDM figures and the Oscar Goldman head is just the right size. But put him next to Steve and it looks like they came from two different companies. Steve's head is WAY too big. I love Penny Dreadful and would love to have a set of figures based on the series but if the pictures shown are what the final product will look like, I'm passing.
