I think that's a pity, as I would have loved to have seen more shows given the 3.75" ZICA treatment.
Craig is the one who suggested to me to start this thread to show Jason at Bif Bang Pow there is interest for this. He has had talks with him about it and he is not convinced... yet.

If the opportunity presented itself I would definitely do more lines in this style. The problem is that Funko has pretty much grabbed every property that would be ideal for it. A few months ago I was asking around about the availability of certain licenses that I thought would be perfect for this format. All of them except one, classic Battlestar Galactica, were already taken. Based on the POP vinyl stuff that Funko is releasing, I'd be willing to bet that they have the license for most, if not all, of the ones I was inquiring about.

I still think that classic Battlestar Galactica would be a great follow up to the Steve Austin line. Zica's work is mind blowing!

Craig has Jason seen this thread yet? Has he said anything?

I'm not sure if he's seen it or not, but I haven't heard from him.

Okay, went away for a moment. I just e-mailed Jason at Bif Bang Pow Craig so we will see if he responds

                  Ah. That makes sense.

Trouble is (for us) is that Funko seem to be cynically snaffling up licences, then churning out pap in order to make a quick buck.

I'd also support a Kenner type classic BSG range. It's something I would have cheerfully killed for when I was a child.

Though I'd be more interested now in pilots and Cylon warriors, and less in daggits and kids with bowl haircuts.

Craig I heard back from Jason. He is well aware of this thread but it is not up to them to do Battlestar right now. He thinks that Universal has plans for the brand but is waiting to see what those are. So now, is there any way to contact Universal directly to convince them to give you the license? Any input or insight would be appreciated. I know this is a dream for me but I think if the license for classic Battlestar Galactica were to ever succeed your company would have to do it. Thanks for your time and products.

At some point I'll have to contact Universal and discuss some issues regarding the SMDM license. When I do I'll be sure to ask about classic Battlestar Galactica.

Thanks Craig! Please let me know what you find out. If there is anything else that can be done to convince them let us know. Your company is the best!

I was just imagining how cool Apollo and Starbuck in their Warrior Jackets would look in this scale... almost like Kenner's old Bespin Han Solo.

I would imagine with the new movie in the planning stages, Universal may be a bit more cagey with licensing. I hope something can be done. Along with Planet of the Apes, I think Classic Galactica is my top choice for this format.

Okay Craig. I am trying to be persistent so I did some searching and finally found a e-mail address for nbc universal consumer. I asked them to look at what you are doing with their Six Million Dollar Man license and would they please consider letting you have the chance to handle the classic Galactica license as well. So we will see. Again after seeing Steve and the gang under your care I really want Apollo, Starbuck and the rest done by Zica. Said it before I'd just as soon see all of my favorite shows done as action figures by you. Cannot wait to pre-order wave two. Zica rocks!
