Carded 1st Doctor no longer on EE site

The carded 1st Doctor figure isn't on the EE site anymore.

If anyone is looking for one at a reasonable price I just got one on ebay here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221312022566...84.m1439.l2649

I deliberately stay away from collecting Doctor Who because I know that, if I ever started, I would go bankrupt in a year. But I just bought a Willialm Hartnell figure! Oh no! I might be spending Christmas 2014 in a homeless shelter.

A little bit more pricey, but once they're gone...

These guys were also solicited by Diamond Distribution to comic book shops.

I preordered some from my local comic book shop and they are always a bit behind in getting this kind if stuff into the store.

But now I am curious, did Diamond get its alotted shipments and they have enough to full orders? Maybe only Entertainment Earth has run out? But perhaps they have flown out the door everywhere and Diamond will be short shipped or outright not sent any?

My gut is telling me Diamond has their Doctors and shortly we will see more for sale.

Is there a definitive online guide to the Doctor Who figures Bif Bang Pow has produced so far? I'm a little confused by what was announced over the last couple years vs. what was actually produced.

The back of the Dalek card reveals all!

this is one of those lines I so want to collect but really don't have room for. I picked up the 1st Doctor because they will soon be scarce and I figured sooner or later I will regret not getting them. I have the Styre, and of course my Palitoy Dr. Who, but have not gotten the rest. I want a Dalek though. the current sale on the Tardis is really hard to ignore too....LOL

My wife surprised me with one as a gift this weekend for Hanukkah, the first part of our holiday season.. She knows me very well and I'm happy.

I am pretty sure #11 will be under the tree for xmas.
                    It's all good!

                      Thanks for that card back!

I hope that Troughton and Pertwee are not far behind. Then maybe a revised Tom Baker in a different costume. I know they have displayed a Tennant prototype. I thought that figure had already come out. Is it still planned?

As much as I like the classic era characters in this format, it would probably be smarter for BBP to get the contemporary characters on the store shelves asap. Strange that Amy, Rory and River are still "yet to come," while the Matt Smith era is coming to an end in a matter of days. They also have a War Doctor figure planned. Would have been nice to have had him and Tennant out in time for the Day of the Doctor special.

I think Amy, Rory and River were cancelled.

It's hard for me to get excited about 2nd & 3rd tier characters when most of The Doctors have yet to be produced.

A lot of fans are concerned about this line getting canceled before BBP even puts a dent in the Doctor roster.

I don't want a collection consisting of three Doctors and two dozen supporting characters.

                            We want Doctors, damnit!

I couldn't ignore that Tardis sale myself. I jumped on that deal. Sure glad I got my first doctor on the card before he sold out.
