Toy Fair 2013: BBP Reveals The Big Bang Theory Figures!

Has there been any new information regarding the BIG BANG THEORY action figure line? Do we know if they will start it with a SDCC figure like the SMDM line? The waiting is always the hardest part of collecting. I can't wait to hang Sheldon on my wall. Did that sound a bit creepy?

I'm just pointing out for the record that your comments don't really apply here. The EE stuff is and always has been pretty collector friendly. It's common knowledge.

I have every EE SDCC exclusive that I wanted and never set foot in San Diego nor did I pay above retail. It has been that way since they began, so it's not a new thing.

For the record, I loathe convention exclusives. They're a joy for a small group of collectors who are lucky enough to attend, but they're a pain in the *** for the majority who can't attend.

Being as BBP offers their exclusives on EE it doesn't bother me as much as say a Star Wars exclusive from Hasbro. Then you have to pay scalper prices on Ebay. If I had to guess I would say that we get a Sheldon first at SDCC. It would be cool if it came with an electronic voice key chain like the SMDM did. But instead of sound effects you push it and suddenly "BAZINGA".

^Yeah, I'm not a big fan either. I don't mind it so much when it's a variation on an existing character (say Sheldon in a Flash shirt or something), but if they make Amy Farrah Fowler an exclusive only, that kind of stings.

Although BBP always offers their exclusives through EE, so no real worries with this line.

I'll either pay through the nose for one (via the secondary market), or not get it at all.
And as I like to collect a whole line, exclusives often kill the whole deal for me, and I don't get the rest of the line at all...

Penny is coming - we did a head sculpt that was rejected, so it will be some time before the
new head is shown.

Glad she is in the works.
