    African American girl heads

    I am hoping and praying that Doc will start making African American versions of his Supergirl head.

    There are only TWO AA girl heads to go around: Lt. Uhura, and the AA Dinah Mite.

    I managed to get a dyed head from someone on ebay quite a few years ago, but as I have no experience with coloring heads, I'd rather not make any errors in trying.

      I hope he gets some AA swivel arms or better yet AA swivel armed bodies.

          Try painting heads the skin tone you want using good quality acrylics. I painted the scalp on a head I rerooted and the paint job was very durable, even with all the poking and prodding I had to do. I've used Liquitex, Testors Acryl, and one more - the name escapes me, but I buy it at the hobby shop. It works much better than those cheaper craft paints. You should be able to modify just about any head you choose.

              Use black Rit dye to turn Doc's swivel arms to a really nice brown!

                  I would love an AA repro "Super-Gal"--I'd add a white hair streal becauseI want an 8-inch "Nubia" foe for Wonder-Woman.

                          I agree 100 percent! Also let's see some more diversity among heads- ethnicity, age ranges, facial types, etc....

                              With you on this one, Scott. That head in AA would be ideal. Even a repro of the AA Dinah with different face paint would work. It's the perfect size for the body. Uhura has a HUGE NOGGIN'!
