Favorite retro figures ?

Venture Brothers - Stylized and awesome. Dr. Orpheus is just amazing.

Buck Rogers - The perfect blend of Mego and Hot Toys. Shows what can be accomplished in this scale. Just wish the license caught on more.

RA Shazam - Exactly as I envisioned him, both in sculpt and suit. The best DC figure in the line to me.

My favorite RA's Villains are Black Adam and Captain Cold (they look perfect)....Favorite Superheroes would have to be Shazam and Flash or Green Lantern.....I didn't care for the Flash head when they first came out, but I'm getting used to it (the Flash suit is great)

but......the Cast A Way Phantom and Captain Action is still the best and favorite in my collection.

* The Kid Biz /Toy Biz 1989 movie Batman is also up there in my favorites.

To pick only three is a real tough one... but here goes...

1. The Venture Bros. The whole line is superb in look and feel (except for the Dr. Girlfriend hip pin issue I keep having). plus these are a whole new line and not a rehash.

2. ZICA Buck and Tiger man... the detail, quality, bang for your buck ... no one can touch them.

3. Commander X - these figures from jay piscopo and Dr.mego to me really bring the mego style to the table in a truly "mego " way. "Duh Jim, they're made from 100% repro mego parts". Yes but the character and the world he comes from is a perfect fit. And again, an original concept, not simply a re-hash.

Cant help to think that the Django line should be included here. The scale and style sure fit, and the quality is possibly the best in this scale to date.
I also forgot to mention the Flattworld Bela as Dracula.

For me, it is all of the Mattel figures that were not re-do's of something Mego did.
the Zica Buck Roger figures for pure quality
and to my surprise, the Monster figures, I am not a monster fan, but these figures just plain ROCK!

It's a tie for anything by Emce and BBP. I enjoy owning the KISS figures too, however, Zica's Buck Rogers toy line is the one that I can't let go. I'm still upset that it was cancelled.
