I'd like to see this happen too, but it's doubtful it'll ever happen... But, with this being the 50th anniversary of Boulle's original novel and with "Rise/POTA" having done so well, it'd be great if they revisited the idea...

In addition to APES, I'd like to see "Alien-Nation" figures and maybe Kwai Chang Caine from the TV series "Kung-Fu" (although both of these probably don't have enough interest to make them viable ideas.)

would really like to see a monster line that would cover a lot of the lesser knowns of the movies. Hidious Sun Demon, Monster on the Campus, Tor Johnson, It, the Terror from Beyond Space, Teenage Frankie and Werewolf, etc.

That's a cool idea. Throw in Vampira, Blacula, and Rondo Hatton and I'm all in!

I'd buy those! Plus villains like Koura and Zenobia.

I've been thinking this would be fun too, trouble is, you'd probably have to cough up $35 on each one to make them work. I'd do it for a lot of these characters but would others?

^^ Why would it be that high? EMCE did some pretty complex monsters for 20 bucks, with the Mutant and the Phantom looking to be just as demanding.

They simply won't warrant those kind of production numbers, far too cult but a lot of the overheads are still there. Trust me, I've been looking into this.

I dunno, seems like a lot of them would appeal to the UMA type fanboys. Rondo was a Universal monster, wonder if he's covered in the liscense that EMCE is working under.

It would be a challenge to sell 500 of any of those. Appeal doesn't equal cash. Not sure what Rondo's license status is, it's not in the universal stuff I have.

have you looked into public domain superheroes or monsters?

Lightly, we're exploring the three licenses we like best. They are all kind of cult and I'm not sure if we'll be able to make the numbers work.

For example if you want to do a character from a public domain movie like White Zombie do you still have to deal with the Lugosi estate?
