I really am interested in this one but haven't pulled the trigger because of the way the head sculpt / paint looks in pics. Any reviews out there that I may have missed?

3 sets of bride and the creature,EE has just shipped out my monsters,I think Picard is fantastic ,although he should
have had a phaser,Emce & diamond select did a great job on these. i just pre-ordered a set of mirror mirror Kirk &

I got both Picard and the Borg in from BBTS and they do not disappoint. The painted head is one to get used to, but truthfully, does not distract from the figure in any way. It does give a bit of that "custom" vibe, being all painted, but I love how the costumes and everything were done. Hope there will be enough interest for Data and the movie/TNG version Klingon. It's all good!Comment

I was thrilled with everything to do with Picard except for the likeness.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

"The" Picard? You sound like that TNG episode "Who Watches The Watchers?""Do you believe, you believe in magic?

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

I saw Picard at DragonCon and thought it didn't look much like Patrick Stewart, so I passed. Still wanting Vina and Nurse Chapel.

I'm quite pleased with both The Picard and The Borg.
I wish Picard had had the skintone as the first TOS figures, he still looks a bit "painted" to me, like Pike was.
But that's the only thing, and not a dealbreaker here. A phaser would have been nice, but Jean-Luc is a diplomat, not a soldier. Great outfit as well.
The Borg is cool, though the artwork looks a bit more fierce than the figure. The paint application is a bit too B/W. But again, a minor thing. His gear is fantastic, great job on that!
All things considered, I'm very happy with them, I hadn't expected to ever have these.
If you want figures to be 100% of what you expected (and nothing less), then pretty soon lines like these will not be continued, and that'll be the end of it.
Buy them, you won't be disappointed. Make it so!
I can't wait to get The Data and The Klingon...Last edited by Gorn Captain; Nov 18, '12, 12:54 PM..

I got em too...
And like em alot. I was a Huge Fan of the Show ..., as I saw Every Episode, and it was more so "My Star Trek" .
I wish the Line Would Focus more so On the Core Crew, rather than these Villian Characters .I think thats a Really **** Poor Idea Given the Fact that the Fan Base for these seem to be in Question. Hopefully Data, Riker, Worf and Leforge all can Join Jean Luke Before the End.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment

Picard doesn't come with a phaser? The pictures I've seen on Entertainment Earth showed him with one BUT when I've seen the figure (in the wild) he didn't have one.If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.Comment
