I received my Creature and Bride from BBTS this week and they are both great figures. The Creature is without a doubt the cream of the crop of this line so far. On a side note, I stopped by a local TRU today with the thought of picking up another Creature; unfortunately, like everything else I've ever seen there, the packaging looked like it had been tossed about by a group of wild chimpanzees. The packages were all dinged and scratched, and it looked like they had been shaken violently because there were green streaks of paint from the Creature's breast plate all over the inside of the bubble. It's not like these are bargain basement figures; you'd think they could handle them with a little more care.

After having a chance to look at him I see the fins are not part of the limbs with the suit laying around them. They are inserted through the material into the body. I think doing it that way keeps the suit from shifting or puckering around the fins.Better late than never.....Comment

Thanks for all the kind words - we really did want this most monsterous of the monsters to
come out right. The sculpt is by Sean Sansom - who has sculpted most of the line.
We were very worried about how well the factory would do silkscreening the bodysuit.
Glad to see it worked in production. These figures will sell out fast. Get them now or pay
more later.
As I mentioned in one of my previous posts about the silk screening, yes, I have seen some differences in the color (I posted a pic if you're curious) but something else that crept in got noticed yesterday....my kid has unpackaged his and posted pics here too. From mere handling the figure, doing poses for photos, the silk screening is coming off. You can take your thumb and rub over the knee and it comes off, like the stuff is crusty and brittle. Kinda weird. I only say this cuz you like to know this stuff and this probably is a random thing.Comment

I have Drac, mummy, the Creech, and the Bride all on layway hold for me at TRU. They had just put out the creature and the bride when I was going in there to put a payment down on my other 2 monsters at my local TRU, So I grabbed these 2 up as well and put them on hold too, couldn't resist.Clothes make the dollComment

Ever since the recent "Haunt Kraft Incident of 2012" monsters [blame Halloween!] are once again welcome in Ape City.
The Creature is so good that the whole set had to be secured this week, and am already lookin' forward to Phantom/Metaluna release. Wow, these are monsters done right!Comment

Got my creature from a dealer at Monsterpalooza. He and the Mummy took over the local diner in Burbank on Saturday. The creature blows all the other figures out of the water. He is amazing!!

These are all great toys, and the Creature figure in particular is just a high point monster toy. The Metaluna Mutant and Phantom of the Opera look on par. I really, really love this line. Thanks again to Paul and Joe and Sean and Chuck and anyone else who made any contribution to this project. It's a dream come true.Comment

I nabbed one at a comic store last weekend. I've still got them coming from EE but I figure I probably want two creatures kicking around anyway.
He hasn't left my nightstand, I would have KILLED for this figure as a kid.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Exactly. He was in my back pocket most of the day I bought him, and has been in a car console, backpack, or night stand since. I STILL haven't made it home, but there will be more waiting there for me when I do. I've really run this one ragged, and it IS the toy I wanted when I was five. And up!Comment
