I'm somewhat disappointed, I had contacted Bif Bang Pow! via twitter and they said all the figures they have taken preorders for for would be released. Less than a week later I noticed the preorders for Sheba , Ovion , Imperious Leader were off most sites. Only Athena set is still up , now changed again to October. I hope they surprise us with another tin tote three pack before their license expires!
The last time I was so excited then bummed was when classic tv toys made the Space 1999 without the two lead characters!
I really want some BSG goodness , please find a way to release the prototypes shown.
I'm afraid when the license expires , no one will pick up the line. I can't be the only classic BSG fan willing to buy all of these??

There wasn't enough support for the other figures to get them into production before the license expired.

And there in is the issue. There is more support for these figure then is shown by preorder numbers - I love the line but won't preorder something that I have no way of knowing when it's coming out, I need to budget for these things. I know I'm not the only one who doesn't do preorder and if that's how BBP is going to judge whether a figure has enough interest then a lot of thing will never get made. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad with what BBP has done and I know they're a different business model the say FTC but FTC ( while they do preorders ) doesn't seem to rely on the preiorders to determine if a figure is being released, they release it whatever the preorders are and they release on a consistent scheduled. Maybe it would have been better for BBP to try doing lines like this as Kickstarters, at least the people preordering would know where they stand as to how close the figure is to getting made.

The missing characters from 1999 is a likeness issue with the actors, not FTC dropping the ball. Same goes for Mike Brady being MIA.

Yes , I agree I'm glad they gave us what they did , I listened to a podcast the company they dealt with regarding Doctor who sounded difficult to work with. I have not heard with issues dealing with the BSG license, and cast seems so eager watching them at the videos I've watched. I was sooo wanting the ovion!! At least they have released some that we can reuse the suits for customs. The finished Athena looks like it will be hottest rooted hair 8" female yet. I'm wondering how many turn her into their fave heroine? I bet she sells out fast.

You're not alone my friend. From what Jason said a while back, only Lucifer and Athena remain on the definitive production list. There wasn't enough support for the other figures to get them into production before the license expired. So it looks like Lucifer and Athena will be the last. It's too bad. I loved this line...immensely. Jason from BBP does too. But the market isn't there for these remaining characters. In my opinion, a sadly underrated line. He was so close to covering all the remaining characters. But tons of credit to him. He got fairly deep into the series. I applaud BBP for their resilience to make as many as they could.
