Are there clear photos of the new prototypes?
I'd love to see what's in store.

This is kind of old news but just in case, in Feb at Toy Fair they announced and showed some prototypes. Lucifer, Lt. Athena, Lt. Boomer, Col Tigh, Imperious Leader and Baltar. When are these suppose to be out anyway, like Sep? Any updates?...any news about the second wave? Which characters will be published and when? I would love any addition because most of the time we "only" get Apollo, Starbuck, Cylons etc.. I think Mattel was the only manufacturer who had produced action figures of Baltar, Lucifer, Muffit and even a Boray...

Would it be possible to include a "rebooted" Starbuck or Apollo in wave 2?
A version where all the snags from the first one gets sorted out, so a regular size head and a better-fitting outfit?
I'd definitely be up for that. Cause no matter how great wave 2 turns out to be, a lot of people will still miss a really good Apollo. I've seen lots of series where the lead character gets repeated in a new wave. The Mad Max figures had at least one Max in each of the three series.
So how about a revamped Apollo, Athena, Lucifer and an Ovion?Leave a comment:

Got my figs last night. Look pretty good to me. I haven't had a chance to bust them out of the package, but I like them. I got a great deal from an Ebay Store who had a BIN or Offer. I offered a bit less and they accepted with free shipping. Let me know if anyone is intrested and I'll post up the info on place. I think they have a few in stock and are trying to unload them.Leave a comment:

I got Adama, Apollo, Starbuck and Cylon on the way. Pretty excited about Lucifer. He's the reason I'm going back to get the other guys. Hopefully we can get Baltar at some point also. We'll I always wanted a Cylon, but Lucifer on the way just sealed it. Thanks BBP!Leave a comment:

You will want to get a cheap black undersuit because it will rip when you get the outfit off of the Cylon. I might of had to shave down his arms too. It's been a while. I had dyed the Zica hands black. It was well worth the effort.
My Cylon arrived with a busted arm. That's how I stumbled onto this. Now that he's nice and poseable I'm going to stick him into a repro box.Last edited by Chris; May 9, '13, 7:29 AM.Leave a comment:

It is your imagination. This was most definitely not an issue with these figures.
There are plenty of legitimate criticisms that can be raised about these figures... and BBP has been good about listening to those criticism and vowing to do better. But give them credit for taking care of the "squishy" issue.Leave a comment:

Jonwes, Those are great photos of the figures. I like the 70s style TV lighting.Leave a comment:

Is it my imagination, or do the heads look to be as squishy as the Angelique head from the Dark Shadows figures? That was my main problem with continuing to buy them. That and if you shine a flashlight behind the head, it makes it look somewhat transparent.
The heads are a big issue with me (no pun intended). They need to be made of a firmer, more resilient form of vinyl, with better paint jobs and likenesses.
The same thing with the girls; from what has been stated by the BiffBangPow peeps, they are working on rooted hair for her.
I'm glad of that, but heads that tend towards being too pale, and too fragile are also a problem.
Could you please consider that if you re-release the First Wave?
And please do something about the too tight stringing of the figs; the rubber bands tend to snap if you are too eager to pose the figure.Leave a comment:

Thanks guys. I got pulled into these sort of figures via Doctor Who, and now I'm loving some of these licenses and figures!
How difficult was that? Love the parts, but the way they work on the body can be a bit maddening. What about the hands? Did you just paint them black?Leave a comment:
