I found three at Five Below tonight: Darkseid, Martian Manhunter, Black Adam. Now my store has none.

That'd be a lot of cheeseburgers.

To be fair, distribution on those has been pretty wonky too. The second series didn't get evenly distributed to most stores. So you have some TRUs drowning in Wave 1, while others are drowning in Wave 2. As I understand it, few if any stores got a good mix. One would assume that it was a TRU problem, though.

I was told at my Five Below that they only rec'd two sets in their initial shipment.

Shame whoever bought them is a better distributor than Mattel. smh...

Mattel isn't shipping them to the closeout stores. Mattel sold the remaining inventory to either a wholesaler
who then sells them to the discount chains or directly to the chain itself.

^Don't I know it. How many otherwise successful lines has it sunk? 200X MOTU, 6" Batman, DCUC after a long run, but still...

This is pretty much how it is with EVERY Mattel product that's not a girl's toy, sadly.

Mattel's distribution is famous for their "logistics" issues.

Yeah, it was pretty exciting to see these at Five Below for this price. I had bought mine a while back for $20 a piece, which I don't regret too much, because I think they're worth it, but $5 is pretty awesome. I just wish they had more variety! I'd buy a whole extra collection! 4 for the price of one is a heck of a deal. Really makes me upset this line didn't continue. I can't believe they didn't release the last wave that was under development. Not a single store would take a Robin & Joker 2-pack as an exclusive? Give me a break. Someone at Mattel wasn't trying hard enough.

Just found a whole bunch at my local Five Below. Yeah, $5 a piece, you cannot ask for better than that!!!

Picked up two (2) each of Shazam, Black Adam and Darkseid. Darkseid was the figure they had most of, I left probably 8-10 of them on the shelf when I walked out. They had no Martian Manhunters.

What a trip! $5 a piece for these is like a dream! Thanks to the OP for letting me know about this.
