Star Trek Next Generation

We have not heard a lot about the Diamond Select line of Next Generation figures since the pictures of Picard and the Borg showed up. I am definitely planning on getting them when they are released in June. (according to Entertainment Earth)

Does anyone have any news on if there will be another wave of them? I'm just curious if there will be more, and if so who is next.

Ah, TNG Retros.



Pretty sure DST said in a Q&A the orders for the TNG Retro figures were poor, another reason we are seeing Mirror Kirk & Spock I'd imagine. (along with the nightmare that was Chapel/Vina)

TNG is my series, so I would love to see them make the 7 main cast members in Retro form. But I can't see it happening. Maybe Picard & Data.

DST also said retailers don't like ordering Star Trek figures because the Playmates 2009 movie figures are still hanging around.

I have my old 9" figures to keep me happy. They don't have that Mego charm, but they are nice.



I do have the Klingon Warrior Worf & Insurrection Worf now. I'll have to update that pic.

Well, I had a little extra money at the end of this month, so I went ahead a pre-ordered my set. Even if they don't do a full crew of figures, at least I'll have Picard and the Borg. If they don't expand, I'll probably just display them at work.
