    keeping the empty cards?

Undecided on weather to keep the empty cards the retro heros came in. Hate to hold onto something thats just taking up space.I'm mean they are colorfull, but they are empty. Anyone holding onto to empty cards?

Years ago, I put Thing, Human Torch, Batman and Hulk Mego cards in the garbage. When I learned people actually collect the cards, I was a bit baffled. Then, I learned what they can sell for.

So, I'm leaning toward putting my cards in the a box in a garage whenever I actually open some of these figures up.
      My Updated Want List:
      Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
      Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel

Have lots of comics and Marvel Legends figures for trades. Thanks!

I find these A4 hard cases are really good for stashing card backs in them, the case fits in nicely on a bookshelf also.

I keep 'em, too. I was opening the RA bubbles just on one side to save the bubble on the card, as well. Not to mention saving all the EMCE Star Trek blisters and cards. I was beginning to accumulate boxes full of empty "boxes." So, in a quick purge, I chucked all the ST blisters (keeping the cards) and cut off all the RA bubbles and chucked them. Felt good... and the cards alone don't take up too much space.

Don't tell anybody, but I toss them. I'm a terrible collector as I open my toys and throw away the packages.

i like the art work on all the retro cards and save them, back in the day ,every mego i bought,my brothers and i always kept the cards to look at the art, drool over the figures we still needed,we use to cut out the circled pics to save also, the first pogs i suppose,we use to trade them,my mom never threw out our toys ,but the packages and boxs ,she did,the only one left from childhood was isis ,its in a photo album,
