Thought I'd put in my two cents on this, since its the only line I support. I'll buy these since it was one of my favorite episodes, however I hope they stop after these two figures. One of my problems with the playmates figures was that they kept doing the same figures over and over again in different outfits. After I saw Chapel and Vina on Entertainment Earth's website I wished they would'nt have bailed on those figures, even though I wasn't going to buy them. I still think sales could be strong enough to warrant new characters from TOS if they choose the right ones. I'm still hoping for Commadore Decker, a Tellerite, Harry Mudd, and another crew member, aw what the heck I'll just come out and say it Kevin Riley.

Yes! A two-pack would be cool!

I'll buy the Mirror Mirror figures, I want this line to keep going, and it's from a great episode anyway. Wouldn't they be cool as a two-pack?

I'll definitely buy Mirror Kirk and Spock. And I don't get the argument that these are "variants" or "rehashes"---these are entirely different characters that I'm looking forward to displaying with my other Trek villains.

I hope they're not give up on Kirk and Spock Mirror Mirror, that's my favorite......

    BTW,

Why Pike has more pale skin on his face and no lips? (that looks like near shaved off) He looks like a zombie to me.....

I have an idea, I buy Pike's outfit into Kirk's body and Pike head resin painted seen our member's Customs, looks much better to me.

I get the feeling DST is doing the same thing to us with this release that Mattel did to us with RA. Squeeze a few more dollars out of us before they give us the bad news. I was going to buy these just to keep supporting the line in hopes of getting the 3 remaining original Mego Treks and Vina and Chapel but now I doubt I will. I wish the original Mego repros had all been offered before any new characters were produced. It didn't make sense to me to stop 3 characters away from finishing the original Mego Treks then abandom them, especially for another rehash of Kirk and Spock.

I'm glad to see Kirk and Spock... but to be honest, I'll support whatever choices come along at this point.

I don't want to see the ST line go the way of RA...

I agree with this point. And I'm living proof...I'll buy Kirk & Spock Megos in any form. If these sell well....I'm hoping for STM versions. You could use the original Megos sculpts for the first movie, all you would need to do is add a mustache to Scotty.

I'm kinda with Joe there too. Mirror never really did it for me to begin with though - and I know I'm way out in the weeds as far as fanbase, because quite literally, a Lt. Leslie and Yoeman Rand would make me giddy. I'd even like an Arcturian or other ST:TMP alien... or for retreading even an alternate Klingon head sculpt like Kor or Kang... that'd be useful for all the multiple Klingies out there in mego land and the outfit could be done in animated color scheme for added interest.
I mean I'd probably rather see a Charlie X than Mirror, and he's pretty low on my list. (right there with the doomsday machine Planet Eater sleeping bag)

I'm sure new characters will come, I'm just impatient for them. Besides I already got a Salt Vampire, a Sulu, and a Chekov - for me the Big Guns for ST remego are covered there.

I've never been a variant collector kind of fan, hated it when it crept into the Batman animated line to the point where it was 3-4 Batmen and one new figure. So, I won't be buyng these and passed on Pike due to the paints and goofy head size. Looks like this line has lost me. When Chapel or an accurate Mugato show up I'll be there.

We could have Sulu with the scarr and red shirt. I think an 8 inch Decker would be awesome and Ilia with StarFleet uniform. All TMP characters in 8 inch form. They Colorfull and different.

I don't say that fans would not buy up Chapel and Vina, but it's hard to
green light production when your retailers - who are also fans - are not
    on board.

I love the mirror universe. Joe thinks it's the end of the line. It may
be or it may wake up the TOS fan base - store owners and collectors alike.

What absurd choices. Just because they are cheap to make, doesn't equate to them selling worth a darn.
I don't know how many sales equate to a darn, but I'm pretty sure it's under 4,000, given the edition size of some of the Twilight Zone figures. I think the "Mirror, Mirror" figures are a good idea. Those variations of the characters are fan favorites, even though they aren't that far from the regular ones, which makes them affordable to do in a limited production scale.

I make could make them, sure, but I haven't yet and I have a shoebox full of Mego Spock and Kirk bodies. So I plan to get them, and all the MM figures if they make more.
