I don't know yet if I'm gonna get these. Regardless, they'll be the last two nails in the coffin for this line.

What absurd choices. Just because they are cheap to make, doesn't equate to them selling worth a darn.

i would rather see new characters like vina & chaple ,then theme figures, but being a trek guy ill buy them all anyway .i did that with playmates figures ,and retro-megos are far better .

I feel that there is not a really interest to Star Trek line ...
I expect some figurines as Neptunian and Gorn (original).

Vina doesn't do it for me. Marta on the other hand...

I'm happy about the Mirror characters. I suspect they'll sell better which is why they're making them.

I guess they could use it if they wanted to. MEGO used it as the Gorn the same time that they were producing the Lizard in the `70's. I think the sculpt is almost generic. It's a lizard head but whatever you name it-that's the character it is.

I'll buy Kirk and Spock one more time in hopes of getting Vina, Chapel and the 3 remaining Mego Treks that are missing but I won't buy them a third time unless we see different characters released with them.

I think the Mirror Mirror figures will do well. I think MM Uhura would also do well. Probably better than the original Mego figure. I'm not a huge Trek fan but that's a pretty well known episode.

Its a shame Vina and Chapel were back burned, but frankly I am just excited the line will go on. If Mirror Spock and Kirk do well it is more likey retailers will take chances on another Wave. Sometimes figures that sell well open the door for others, The Star Trek Universe is huge. If its takes multiple incarnations of Kirk and Spock, so be it...

In order for these figures to be successful, they need to sell to folks outside of the Museum... and likely more than 8.

Mirror universe figures may be a relatively easy customs for the folks on here. But to the much bigger populace of Trek fans, they see these as new versions of the show's 2 most iconic characters. I have no doubt whatsoever these will sell better than Chapel or Rand.

I think if those characters are big sellers, that would translate well with variants as well.
