How Scarce are EMCE Romulans these days?

The whole Trek line was amazing, however the Romulan is most likely my favorite. I love it. Glad I kept two as well. One is opened and on display, the other is tucked away with my other sealed ones.

warehouse fire?

Is the warehouse fire story on the level? I remember hearing that story
from Mark Huckabone back in the late '80s - but I thought we asked Marty
and Neil about it at 2004 Megocon and they denied it.

Does anyone know the facts about this?

From what I have read, the reason why the Mego Romulans were (are) popular, is after Mego corp made the figure, they sent them out on the first deliveries, before they got the chance to send out the second wave, their was a fire at the plant and the rest were destroyed, 3 other Trek aliens that came out with the Romulan series 2, suffered the same fate, Talosian and not sure of the other 2 maybe Mugato and Neptunain? Mego never botherd to remake them, budget cost probably since they had the inflation problem back then.

I figured Gorn was going to be the big army-builder from this series.

I think Gorn and Sulu are the set to watch for in the next little while.

Given George takei's recent surge in popularity, and the revised Gorn just being flat out awesome.

Looks like they are still reasonable right now.
