I picked up a John Stewart and yellow Sinestro, which completes my retro Mattel collection. I had two final Castaway bodies remaining for a Matty transplant. The only figure I never bought was Kyle because I don't have anymore CAT bodies to switch. If I ever get Kyle super cheap I'd get a Dr. Mego body and transplant his head. The only Mattel body I never switched out as Darkseid for obvious reasons. Such a shame Mattel opted out of the retro biz, but it makes me appreciate the efforts of BBP, Emce, among others, more.

Bought my figures on sale the morning of March 1st. I am one state away from the shipping warehouse. Delivery ETA=March 14th-15th.

Unless Mattel invents something else for me to collect, this will probably be the last time I shop at Matty, which is a shame because if Mattel had a lick of sense they'd see there's money to be had if only they did the job right.

I had to shop for a birthday, and my TRU had one whole peg of Flash and Captain Cold. I don't know if it was a big return or they restocked. I hadn't seen any retros there in months, and they only take returns for 90 days. Bittersweet to see them.
