I was so ticked when Mattel decided to only sell the legends line at mattycollector. And every reason you guys said is why. Now instead of paying $16 bucks a figure we have to pay $30 plus for terrible shipping.

As for Matty and this line - current management is not interested
in anything beside selling the remaining inventory.

At Toy Fair, I heard a rumor that the Robot Chicken guys bought
up a lot of retro action figures direct from Mattel.

I can certainly respect that. But a simple glance at the market clearly shows they are considerably higher than many selling these figures. And that's with shipping included. If they need to move product then discount it. But don't jack it up and then pretend to give a bigger discount than what it truly is. That's unethical. And yes, it's a common trick in the retail industry, but it doesn't make it right.

Mattycollector is getting to be a hack site when they make false claims about discounts after jacking up the price. The best way to protest this place is to avoid buying anything from them. Let them bleed if that is the way their going to do business.

I know Matty is corrupt and nuts but this is insane...just glad to be able to get Batman and Supes after they sold out last sale with 30 minutes! This just goes to show how they do business! Truly unscrupulous!
