The title says it all. As a B5 fan I think it would be cool to see this done in Mego style. There are a lot of different characters, human and alien to choose from.

Put Me Down for a full run of characters! But i think the fire is just not out there for B5. However it was one of the best series ever made! Not Scifi series , just series ever made."Hang on Lady... We go for a RIDE!" - Shorty to Willie Scott.Best movie line from Indiana Jones & the Temple Of DoomComment

I'd actually prefer Babylon 5 to Battlestar. I have every season plus all of the movies on DVD. hehehe

i would be interested in that. at it's best it was one of the greatest SciFi shows ever. the final season it just sort of lost direction. a re-mego line would be really coolComment

Babylon 5 fan base cooled off so fast after the show ended.
The actors all moved onto other things (like rehab for Jeff Conaway)
The biggest problem with making toys of the show is that the
uniforms looked great on screen, but they are pretty plain when
reduced to 8 inch. Take a look at the Exclusive Premiere figures.
The 6 inch looked good, but the fabric on the larger scale seems
off.Comment

I would love B5 Megos, but there doesn't appear to be much interest or resurgence of interest in it at all. I believe there have already been a few spinoffs that never really caught on... although personally I liked where Crusade was going. Legend of the Rangers was pretty bad. I didn't even see the most recent B5: Lost Tales, although a couple of the direct to DVD movies were pretty good.
You can still find the Exclusive Premiere figures for dirt cheap at toy shows, so those would be a great base for Mego customs.Comment

I'm interested in just about EVERYTHING in Mego scale, form and size. Alternately, I wonder if the fan base for B5 would be interested in Mego style figures? It seems to me that the ages of the main fan base for Mego figures are the 40 somethings like myself. I've never seen a single episode of Babylon 5, as it wasn't a TV show from when I was a child... It was a show from the late 90's, was it not? Most, if not all, of the figures I'm interested in depict characters from the 60's and 70's...... But hey, I could be totally off base on this, and if I am, then more power to B5 in the Mego style.....Galaxy ExplorerComment

I think one of the problems is that it wasn't easy to find when it was on originally. I came across an episode once but being in syndication there wasn't a specific day and time it could be found ( my cable sucked back then ). When it was on the Sci-Fi network is when I watched it and loved it. It was on in the morning and when I woke up I got my breakfast turned it on and watched. Still I find it hard to believe that there isn't a big enough base that wouldn't be interested. Lets face it, how many younger people today have seen an episode of Six Million Dollar Man or Space 1999?
One can only dream and be VERY HAPPY with Doctor Who, Six Million Dollar Man and Battlestar Galactica.Comment

I liked Exclusive Premiere figs, but I didn't like the fabric used. Plus they didn't do Sinclair. It was the best show on TV. JMS still has an interest in making more B5.Comment
