I think a recent Matty Q&A put the final nail into whatever hopes we had left for that avenue. The inner optimists keep hoping that Diamond and/or DC direct pick up the ball down the line.

I'm sure whatever numbers Mattel considers small hat would be a boon to a collector's market and smaller company.

There is a Terminator figure out that we might be to take the arm and turn it into a bionic arm. I'm thinking that we "might" see a bionic arm Steve Austin variant as an exclusive.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Great idea! Which Terminator figure is it?

This is the first Re-Mego that I am hugely excited about, since hearing about Mattel RA in 2009.

Concerning SMDM, will there be anything about the arms and legs of the Steve Austin figure to suggest bionic components, or will they simply be standard flesh colored arms and legs?

From the start, I assumed at some point we'd see a "Battle Damaged" Steve with a torn sleeve and exposed bionics, but who knows? If it looks like Majors, I'm definitely down for a few of these guys, regardless.

I would be surprised to see a red track suit, either.

It's the Arnold figure with the skin off on the left arm. It might be too small. I saw one today but didn't buy it. The exoskeleton figure (linked by Enik24) might be a better way to go.

This is the one I was thinking of initially.

It would be cool if they had clear limbs with the a suggestion of parts inside. Of course that's too much manufacturing. But it's a cool idea all the same. I think...
