EE has Picard/Borg retro for presale

I have a question Paul: the top half of Picard's uniform is extremely baggy. Is that just the Prototype...will the finished product fix this problem. Plus the head sculpt isn't a great likeness, will this too differ from the Proto?

I'd pre-order, but if the figures keep turning out like Scotty or Pike, I can't commit my money up front. I don't understand how thousands upon thousands of dollars can be sunk into the production of something and then the factory can just do it wrong and be like, "Well, that's that..." - or whatever happened. It's a huge investment down the drain, as far as I'm concerned.

I will be waiting to see actual production samples of these. Scotty could pass, but Pike was such a disappointment. He doesn't fit in to the Mego Trek collection at all. I hate fully painted heads/hands. It's very un-Mego-like to me. That's one of the reasons I don't care for the Universal Monster re-Megos. They don't look vintage enough.

I think the Picard likeness is fine in a Mego spirit. Still won't get me to buy him, just have little love for this alleged "more adult Star Trek". Guess adult means bland and sterile.

I'm pretty excited about these. I have the original Megos of the five crew members and a Klingon, and hope to get the EMCE Sulu and Chekov someday. But I'd love to replace my 9" Playmates TNG crew. I appreciate the fabric clothes and some of the headsculpts, but the bodies are just atrocious.

I'm not sure how far Diamond will take this line, but I plan to support each wave in the hopes of at least getting the main seven crew members. Picard and the Borg look great, and I think a Locutus would be an ideal "villain/alien" to pair with a less popular crew member. (I'm looking at you, Deanna Troi!)

Trek Megos have a proud tradition of molded boot feet. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Growing up I guess I did Star Trek backwards. I saw TNG first then original Series. I'll be getting these for sure.

Im more than sure Vina and Chapel will show up,...why????? Just look at the EMCE NOTLD figures for example,..after we were told that only Ben and the Zombie were to be made and the remaining two girls in the series were'nt,....years later,..now EMCE is releasing them.....So ...lets keep the faith on Vina and Chapel guys and gals!!!!
