Hey Galaxy - tell me about the 2 Creatures? Are they customs?

Saroyan-

Yes. They are both "customs". But I think the good customizers here on the museum website call them "kit-bashes." The one with the darker suit, and the gloves and boot-feet is a green Doc Mego body, Doc Mego Neptunian boots and gloves and head, and, I think, a "Reproheads" suit.... I bought all of those parts probably 2 years ago and put it all together. The lighter green suit is a kit that museum member MikeOZ made and offered here on the museum about 1-1.5 years ago. I got the un-sewn suit and un-painted head, hands and feet from him. They're on a green Cast-A-Way body. My girlfriend sewed up half the suit, my mom sewed the other half, and I painted the head, hands and feet. That's about it.

Those are the only 2 Creature from the Black Lagoon figs I have. I never got the AHI one, and probably wont ever get it due to its current going price. I've only mentioned here on the Museum how much I want a NEW EMCE/Diamond Creature about a million times!

WHAT ?!?!?!? Do you know this for a fact?!?!?! Where'd you get your news?!?!?! If so, Yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those are the two I've been saying I wanted as wave 3 since right after wave 2 came out!!!!! Where can I read this for sure...?

The Universal Monsters toy coming from Diamond Select look, dare we say, scary good. There’s a new wave of 8-inch Retro Cloth action figures including Creature from the Black Lagoon and Bride of Frankenstein, 7-inch figures the Invisible Man, the Phantom of the Opera and the Metaluna Mutant (from This Island Earth), and Minimates based on "The Mummy" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." Here is the boxed set of "The Mummy" figures, with the Mummy, Princess Anck Es En Amon, the Mummy's Sarcophagus and the set-exclusive Helen Grosvenor.

Woo-hoo! Can't wait to see pictures.
