Retro Star Trek Movies?

With TOS and now Picard/Borg announced, I'm left wondering whether we'll see mego's of the Trek movies?

I think the Retro line of the original series has now covered all the main characters, so branching off into the movie franchise makes sense.

In my opinion, an Admiral Kirk and movie Khan would sell better than any remaining characters in TOS.

Has there been any word on whether these are coming?

They have been discussed, but I can't say that it is a certainty.
The movie figures done in 7 inch by Art Asylum were not a big
hit.

I skipped the Art Asylum line because the paint apps looked so gloppy. In retrospect, I should have grabbed the Yelling Kirk variant anyway.

Diamond/EMCE Khan is one of my favorite retro figures. A movie version would be an awesome addition to my collection. I'd buy Admiral Kirk as well because his uniform is just so great.

I'm looking forward to the Star Trek TNG figures. I want the entire bridge crew and more.

Movie style Klingon!
Shrink the old ST:TMP 12" klingon! What could be more MEGO?

ST TMP 8 inch Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Decker, Scotty with stache, Ilia, Uhura with a fro, Chekov, and Sulu. Kirk, Spock, Chekov, Sulu, McCoy, Scotty, Uhura would all have the same original Mego head sculpts just add the fro hair for Uhura and a little painted moustache for Scotty. Will Decker and Ilia could have a headsculpt of their own or even a Brick head for Decker and a slappin bald Wonder Woman with very dark eyes for Ilia. The uniforms would be awesome and colorfull, some with short sleeves and make the away team field jacket for Kirk, Spock, Decker, and McCoy. This would be a huge refit for TOS figures, have the bodies of the swivel arm type with short removable boots and new package artwork like original mego 1980 figures. That would be so very Cool!!!!
