In business, the guy who puts up the money, calls the shots. Mattel
paid Joe and I for our prototyping and input - when we saw something

    if they decide to continue.
Doc you will always be the "World's Greatest Mego Advocate" and of course maker of new Mego's. In looking at this thread and all the ones like it over the past couple of years and then looking at my desk, it's all thanks to you for all of the new 8 inch classic style figures that I proudly display.

The originals will always have there place in my heart and collection but very few 'new' things have really ignited my imagination in that child like innocent way like the new Venture Bros, Twilight Zone, Universal Monsters, the Trek's and of course the Retro Actions.

    Thank you again sir!

Michael J. Dolan went back in time and kicked me in the face during Christmas of 1975 while I was opening a Robin, Mattel has ruined Mego for me.

First of all thanks, Doc and Co. for getting us, the children of the 70s, the missing figures we wanted. Lonnie is right that consumers not in the know tend to bundle the names and products together, but if RA had never happened, I also agree with others that the same "passing of the generations" in what looks good as a figure would be happening anyway.

My kids like to play with their "Megos" (a variety of beaters and RAs and EMCE, etc), but to be honest, my son loves the chunky Imaginext figures better and has longer playtime adventures with them than the 8" guys. That being said, I think if a new figure came home, both my daughter and son would be happy.
          It's all good!

I wish the Museum had a Like button.

Without the efforts of the Doc and Joe, I wouldn't have Green Lantern and Flash, and Martian Manhunter to finish up my Justice League. They look great and I'm glad I have them on my shelf.
