Doctor Who is Shipping from EE!

Hey gang, BBP! Lenzi here. Just noticing some of the grumbling about the 4th Doctor's hat not fitting on the figure we did in the DOCTOR WHO line. First of all, no one's more disappointed about this than I am, since I've wanted this figure since I was 9 years old. But to clarify, we did NOT "drop the ball" on this element of the figure. the factory did, pure and simple. We are going to have a running change on it, as we didn't get to see this mistake until the figures shipped and were already in our hands. Without explaining the monumental efforts and more importantly COSTS it would take to halt everything for one piece and starting fresh, we opted to fulfill orders instead, knowing we have a fantastic figure already and that 99% of our collectors will be happy.

Thanks for clarifying. How does BBP plan on making things right for those of us who bought the Doctor figure from this first wave?

Sorry everyone, haven't figured out how to post a reply directly to someone yet! But, Bones, to answer your question: we don't have replacement hats at the moment. What we'll probably do, if all the first wave figures sell out fast enough, is make plans for more 4th Doctor figures with the running change and order a batch of extra hats. Or regardless, if we get enough feedback, order a batch of hats anyway. But that could be a year or so off.

Well I'll be picking them up as soon as they come in because they look like serious Win (I figured having them ordered at the local comic shop from a case would sell more overall numbers than an online pre-order - but the wait is killing me)
