Being a guy who is moderately into paper-craft stuffs I can tell ya this one is indeed "FUN! and unreasonably challenging!" But at the end of it all he is so important to the collection. It's amazing what insomnia induced by a steroid shot and a antihistamine cocktail will allow you to produce

Thanks again to Bif Bang Pow for offering up this unique and challenging project.

It looks great and fits right in with the rest of the figures. Next up is Spider H.E.L.P.eR.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Actually the BBP folks listed on a thread here a while back and I saved it. I'm sure its easy enough to google for it too.

That H.E.L.P.eR. is awesome. I need to build one. As usual Jim, you make me want stuff.

It's the least I can do for the greater Re-Mego cause!

And to share a very important trick: DO NOT Try to use the tabs/slits. I found that the overall look worked so much better by way of simply gluing the tabs to the inside where they correspond to. The slits are so small that trying to get them positioned properly leads to easy and quick tearing. Mind you I printed this guy off on regular copy paper, I can see that with cardstock the tab/slit problem would still exist.

Up next I'm going to try and sculpt out the block pieces in sculpy... cast em.... and then use the papercraft as stickers... I'm also on the hunt for some straw size, flexible, metal conduit to serve as HELPeR's core. He'll probably way ten pounds but he'll be solid. I figure casting the shoulders and arms will allow for usng the screw method to insert points of articulation.

Man I love these figures... they make me HAVE to pay!
