OBSOLETE!!! NO WAY LOU!!!! IMO everybody that has made a SMDM mego are priceless and AWESOME!!!! I am so glad that these figures are being made and I really hope Maskatron has removable faces, Steve has roll up skin and telescopic eye, I hope Big Foot is Andre in 10 inch form with life like fur, and I hope there will be Bionic Mission Arm and Legs. I hope when you change his clothes Steve has the red underwear like the kenner figure.OH YES!!! I hope if they do make Maskatron and Fembot they make the figures look more like the characters' appearance in the actual episodes as opposed to the toy-ey look of the vintage Kenner ones. Exciting news but now my collection of custom 8-inch Bionic people will be obsolete. :(

My thoughts on Steve Austin...
I always hated the hollow eye thing. It got even worse after my brother got peanut butter in it. LOL I'd like a standard face.
As for the arms and legs? I'd be OK with "tattooed on" bionic chips. If they are going to do and in-scale rocket/lab, I'd put holes so you can hook up the diagnostic tubes and stuff, but otherwise, the "tattooed on" bionics would be fine.
Ooooo! Black Light bionics would be cool. Painted on bionics that would only show under a black light would work awesome with a scanner table!!! I've noticed things like this on some newer toys.
And my Steve Austin with red underwear looked like they used two buts on him! I'd go with the standard.

Bionic Man Comic for Inspiration
Has anyone else been reading the new Bionic Man comic being put out by Dynamite comics? It has some great artwork that could be used as backdrops and such.
