Mattel RA Toys R Us Express

Heads up, folks. I just picked up an extra Sinestro and Lex for $12.90 each at TRU Express. Not sure if the main TRU stores are finally helping these peg warmers get a proper send off. (Equally cool was a buy 1 $20 video game and get a 2nd for $1.99.)

Turns out the mall nearest me turned the former KB Toys into a TRU Express. I got the only retro figures on the shelves besides the GB Janine 2-pack.

I was thinking of Ritt-dying my Lex and turning him into a Superfriends' Brainiac.

Of the Mattel figures I only lack the Matty figures of: Sinestro, John Stewart, and Kyle Radner. (I have a Guy Garner in transit to me by mail.) I picked up an extra Sinestro because I was thinking about putting him in a GL costume...or making my own yellow costume variant. Probably won't happen because I'd have to turn blue boots to yellow. If anyone has a spare GL Mattel costume with boots or (more unlikely) the yellow costume with yellow boots please PM me. (At some point I need to get off my lazy butt and list some unwanted crap on the Marketplace. I know I have several like-new Mattel RA bodies I want to get rid of.)

I was in a TRU the other night and there was only one Sinestro there. He was still priced $19.99. I think they will all vary from store to store. Glad you found a deal though. That's awesome!

i was in my local TRU last weekend and they still had the same Lex and Sinestros collecitn gdust...except now they are not even on pegs anymore, just standing on a shelf on the bottom near the floor where noone will see them. if they go on clearance i would pick up a few more but at 20.00 I am not buying extras

for some reason the tru express in my area charge an extra $2 more for their stuff. kinda weird.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I thought it was the same price as the regular TRU stores. What, $50, $60? But I wouldn't be surprised if it was a few dollars more than the reg TRU stores because I did look at the price tags for the DCU figures and they were $17-$18 rather than the $15. All the TRU Express had were the Darkseid wave.
