    Star Trek DS9 fans?

DS9 certainly has an odd, but rather unique place in the Trek franchise.

Between simultaneously running towards the end of Next Generation and kick off of Voyager, and the abandonment of the Star Trek spaceship exploration theme that has been the central premise behind all the other shows. Even the fact that half the characters in the cast were not Star Fleet officers, and did not necessarily own their allegiances there.

Do you think it would be odd to see them get the ReMego treatment?

Which characters (or versions of characters) would you like to see most?

I think Bald-goatee Sisco would be the shoo in. Worf of course. Odo and Quark. The aliens are always favourites. I'm probably the only one who wants to see Morn.

of course the DS9 gang in the retro uniforms from the "Forrest Gumped" tribble episode would fit in nicely with the classic trek megos.

I'm a huge, huge DS9 fan. It's probably my favorite Trek series. Unfortunately, I tend to think that ReMegos work best with outdated (or outdated-looking) franchises. Given that there are already a lot of high-quality DS9 figures out there, it's hard to get excited about ReMego versions, unless they worked really hard to make them look like Megos (unlike, say, the TNG ReMegos).

That being said, if they were gonna do them, hell yes there should be a Morn.

Lots of people would likely love to see Quark, since Playmates never included him (or any Ferengi) in their fairly exhaustive 9" line. Guess it wouldn't have made much sense from a proportional standpoint.

So many great, well-written characters on DS9...

        >Do you think it would be odd to see them get the ReMego treatment?

Well.... I gotta say.... sorta. The 8" Mego style figure isn't a general format right now; it's be-bopping around becoming one, but it's not quite there yet. So any 8" format figures are still going to be something of an oddity. BUT: I think the advantage is the same as it was in Mego's day, that once you get the basic tooling down it's easy to add new characters; and if you can keep the franchaise cost low enough I think durned near ANY series would work.

        >Which characters (or versions of characters) would you like to see most?

I need an army of Cardassians.

I want a Garak so that he and Mego Dr. Zaius can have an intrigue-off.

Oh who am I kidding, I love Zaius, but Garak could probably blackmail Zaius's mother into poisoning him, if he had to.

I enjoyed DS9 more than Next Gen. the varied characters and really in all the shows they had the most character development and think about it ,half the cast was gone at the end of the show, that was a nice development. i would get Mego figures of any of the Trek shows even Enterprise, but they should be last. But i won't buy anything related to the Abrams movie.

I freakin loved DS9. The darkness and political turmoil made it for me. The first season was very hit or miss, but they really got into a groove when they added the Dominion and the Defiant. Love that show. I never did get to see any of the last two seasons as I was never home and kinda lost interest in television altogether. I'll have to Netflix those I think.

I'd love to see a badass bald Sisko, Gul Dukat, Odo and a Jem Hadar warrior.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I loved the show when it first began, but waned until Garak appeared. He personally did it for me on that show; great character, great actor, always intriguing!

Fabulous, fabulous show, DS9. The wife and I watched the entire series a year or two ago. Avery Brooks' booming voice is awesome.

That being said, I don't think they'd represent well in the ReMego format.
