I realize I'm not exactly beating the alive-est of horses here, but I was curious if there's been any new news about a Mego Talosian (or Talos, if you like). I'm loving that we're getting a Pike and Vina, but it also just makes me all the more anxious to own a Talosian for Pike to strangle.

I'd rather see them re-release the old egg-head than make a cooler one.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

It would be cool to get more screen accurate Talosians, although I'm a bit more excited at the idea of focus shifting over to TNG. Would also love Movie figures with new sculpts... Bypassing the first movie initially in favor of Wrath of Khan.

The Next Generation.
I think keeping the original Talos head would be the right move, but a more accurate costume would be fine with me. It would be interesting for EMCE to do what some other toy companies do, and have one version as the standard and the other as the "variant", but both issued in the same wave.Comment

Actually the Kanamit robe from the TZ figure and the King Arthur medallion with my head would pretty much nail the guy on the left of the group shot. Anyone scrapped a Kanamit figure? I need a robe. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

I really hope this isn't true. I'm just one guy, but I'm not planning on buying an TNG figured. I'm guessing that the Venn Diagram of nerd interests has a lot more overlap between TOS and Mego than TNG and Mego. But I guess only sales figures will tell the tale.Comment

I wonder if the earlier waves were overproduced... especially Spock and Bones. I know Kirk/Klingon were difficult to get for a while, but it seems Spock and Bones were never in short supply. I know I saw several pegs of them at the FAO Schwarz in Vegas two or three years ago, and was amazed at the number... probably no less than 15 of each.
I will miss this line a lot. It's been so much fun to collect.Comment
