I really hate all the painted faces which is why I don't buy these Universal figures. When did Mego ever fully paint a head? The main surface area of the head should always by that plastic/vinyl material. Ugh.

I picked up both Dracula and the Mummy today at lunch at the TRU in Brandon (just outside Tampa) Florida. They look pretty cool!

Nice to see they managed to keep a little bit of Bela in the Dracula sculpt. These are very nice! I want a set, and I bet the boy will too.

i have the flattworld dracula which is based on legosi so no rush to get emce's yet but i probably will,the mummy looks great.I hope they make invisible man with a clear base body and the creature from the black lagoon.

Picked up my set after dinner tonight. All I can say is...AWESOME! Timing is everything, the local CBS had a 25% Off Sale on all action figures (old & new)...got my set for just over $30.00. The paint jobs are fantastic and the Dracula outfit is EXCELLENT! Can't wait to see what the next wave will be!

Finally got em tonight at Toys R Us. I can't stop looking at them. They are really awesome. No complaints about the hands here. Thanks to Paul and the guys at EMCE and Diamond for these awesome figures. If we can only get a Bride and Creature next year this set would really be too good to be true.

Glad to hear you guys like them. As for the hands, we made custom
hands for the Mummy - had we made special hands for Dracula,
they would have been cast in green and painted flesh - which would
have annoyed the same people who don't like the hands now.

You always have the option of replacing the hands with glow in
the dark or spell hands - or sculpt your own.

Received Dracula yesterday--love it!! The detail on the costume is superb, and the head sculpt really evokes the Mego of old. Can't wait to get the rest of the monsters!

One weird thing, though---two small dead moths were on plastic holding Drac in place, but not on the same side as the figure. Probably nothing, but still strange.

Yeah these rock. They will be ideal for a Halloween sceen the kids and I plan on making.
