Dracula and mummy next week :)!!!!

Drac had to be "definitely not Lugosi" but the sculpting for both
figures was done by Sean Sansom - he who sculpted Brick Mantooth.

We tried to make up for Dracula's genericness by putting more
effort into his outfit.

Oh, and we are now working on next year's monsters - but I'm not allowed
to talk about them yet.

I am so looking forward to these as Wolfman and Frankenstein were so well done. And another wave of monsters is great news. Creature, Phantom, Bride...can't wait.

It's official!!! The line continues!!!! All right! Dino-Mite!!!! First order of business today is to see if the local Toys R Us has them here. Hopefully so, but if not, then 2 days to go!

I got 2 sets of the first wave also, one set to open and one to save. So I'll get at least 2 sets of this wave also. Do we know what the packaging looks like? Is it the same as the first wave?

I buy a set from EE and then get one at my LCS, it's more expensive but I love to support independants as much as I can.

Does the Frankenstein's Monster re-released this year have a different paint application on the face? I seem to remember reading about something (paint under the eyes) being omitted by the factory on last year's but my computer is not cooperating with a search.

Also, are do the backing cards differ?

I hope the Franks face gets the paint it was supposed too. Also I remember that Frank and the Wolfman were supposed to get re-released with the pictures on the cards in color not black & white.

It's down to one day to go.... Stopped by my local comic shop today. They can't sell till tomorrow, but I got to see 'em. They rock. Plain & simple. Freaking phenomenal. Actually, I just got back from the Down concert here in Denver, which is why I'm posting so late, & it's the first free second I've had for hours to post... But the comic shop was open on the way to the concert, and I stopped by to see the monsters. Hopefully im not babbling... Ive had a beer or 4....The shop opens at 10 tomorrow morning... I'll be the first customer in the door....
