i was just wondering why ,the new universal monsters & and the 2 latest star trek figures bodies are screwed together and not done like the first EMCE figures?. bif bang pow is using emce type 1,i thought they were better.i also miss the companey name ,year on the back of the heads like mego use to do,or as emce did with their earlier figures, are the next generation and future figures gonna use type 2.although it doesnt really matter to me,i just like them to be closer to classic mego, would also like to see emce go back to their earlier package .

The older body torsos were glued together and had a problem with the glue cracking, pretty sure the screwed together figures were a solution for that problem. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks -
The screws in the back are because those bodies are being made in
a different factory. It is hardly a "type 1" vs. "type 2" comparison.
Trust me - a real "type 2" is coming.Comment

Well, the screw backs are better than the others. Also makes restringing easier when your Wolfman comes with the arms on backwards. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment
