Beware of buying from this site

I tried ordering a Retro Action Flash from ccgarmory about a month ago. I sent the money order next day after placing my order and now a month later they claim it was never recieved. I know sometimes mail can get misplaced but this is my first experience after ordering from many, many places through mail order websites of something like this happening. When i emailed they claim the payment was never recieved but i know i did. I guess ill have to call the number on the purchasers receipt to see if it was cashed. Now i guess i see why most would rather use paypal but i still dont like doing financial stuff on a computer. I was just wondering just how often you guys gets burned on your orders. Does it happen to any of you often? This is one of the reasons the RAs should have been better available in the stores to begin with. It would have took away the hassle. Thats probably $26.40 down the drain.....

I know a few dont like to deal with paypal, but seriously, I feel safe using it knowing Im covered if anything goes wrong, and a few things have, items never recieved etc, and always got my money back.

never had an issue with paypal . . . if you're going to use money order use the Postal Money Orders.

Use your M/O receipt and check to see if it was cashed.

As a seller I hated have to take only Paypal and not being able to take M.O. but as a buyer it's the safest way to go.

i have noticed that some of the best sellers on here usually do take paypal only. i would hope on some instances they would be willing to budge a little though...

I share that concern with personal information online. But Paypal is by far the safest site on the web. I have never had any problems, PLUS your purchase is protected if you don't receive your items. So it's not only more convenient, but your purchase is insured as well. I've had to test that protection once and my money was returned immediately. You just have to file a claim before 60 days are up. If that time ever gets close, which seldom ever happens, I politely let the seller know so they are aware and still have time to finish the transaction. I try never to ruffle feathers because most people have good intentions and sometimes they need some extra time. Life can certainly get crazy. No big deal. But I'm a good person too and thus I believe in getting the same consideration. Paypal is the only way to go.

well it turns out they werent lying about it. It still puzzles me how mail just gets lost. I guess with enough volume of mail floating around it eventually happens, just wish it wasnt something like this. I really want a retro flash to, thats the worse part of it,lol

pay pal is the only way to go period. safe and pay pal protects the buyer.

sure they charge a fee, but there is also proof.

received your order, then get a replacement money order from
the issuer (post office, Western Union, 7-Eleven, etc.) and
send the money order and your address to my address below

It turns out they DID cash it! I had someone call on a clearer phone and it was done on the 22 of last month.....put this site on the beware list! What can i do?
