Without question Flash was my favorite in the line, quickly followed by the surprise addition of Capt Cold. After that, I would have to say Lex Luthor and Green Lantern. I thought Green Arrow was an improvement over the original Mego, as was Wonder Woman. Shazam was also done very well, following a more literal translation from the comics. Overall, I thought the line was a blast to collect and was improving in quality by each wave. I thought the sculpts were becoming more detailed and the outfits were finding a level of quality that made them more desirable. Given the uniqueness of it's character diversity, it's a shame it didn't continue.

I've enjoyed the whole line, even buying characters i wasn't planning on gettingand yet i cannot get a Wonder Woman to save my life. My favorite is probably Green Lantern he was missing far too long and most improved would have to go to Capt Marvel or WW if i could see for myself. but i really loved the Villians chosen for this line, all good choices down the line.

The Green Arrow figure is still pretty awesome. Love the Black Adam and Shazam figures as well.

Sometimes I imagine being able to go back in time to the days when I could buy Mattel retro heroes off the shelves. Good times.

for me ,what i most enjoyed was getting them at retail,i thought all the figures were done very well,it was really fun to see them at toysrus express, batman was by far the most saw figure for me in the 70s,so when i saw those 6 retro batmans and a couple of supermans along with aquaman at the same mall that i bought megos at 36+years ago,i felt like a kid again going through the assortment, picking out a batman, twoface aquaman black manta ,walking to the counter ,enjoying the moment of so long ago .awesome

^^^The above statement does not necessarily reflect the shopping experience of all retro action figure customers. I craved that experience and was denied. The first case of RA my TRU got had no Supes, a GL with his emblem around his navel and a broke-leg Sinestro. I eventually got a Sinestro a month or so ago, but the magic was definitely gone. I never saw another wave at retail, and I looked weekly for a year.

              It's nobody's fault except Mattel.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

The Flash and Superman were my favorites and brought that Mego rush back for me. I still need to find a few, but seeing Paul at SDCC in 2010 with the debut of Wonder Woman was pretty cool as well.

All I ever saw was Sinestro and Luthor. I did not buy them because I needed their heroes too. Yeah, Mattel SUCKS for DC...They do great on WWE though.

Looking back, each wave was a bit better. I really liked the assortments offered, esp. Sinestro, Flash, Capt. Cold, & Manta.

Only Batman's cowl & Black Adam were a disappointment.

Just wondering what is going on with RA heroes if anything at all behind the scenes?! Looking forward to Kyle and getting a tiny hint to accept the death march or go full throttle! I would love to see more if and any way possible! Love to hear something to keep the fires burning!

I like the Sinestro Yellow suit, but my favs are Martian Manhunter, Darkseid and Captain Marvel.
Green Lanterns are all great and having the outfits for customs of the Corps is a dream come true!

I'm late in coming to this line, but I really dig Lex and Black Manta. Manta's breathing apparatus was very nicely done. So glad they made a good number of villains for this line!

A few additions since, I can say:

#1: The Flash. Just love how this figure was done. 5 stars all around!

#2: Wonder Woman. They reallly knocked it out of the park on this one.

                            #3: Lex Luthor. Still impressed.

                            #4: Black Manta.

#5: Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Compliments my Mego Green Arrow nicely.

#6: Superman. Like the colors and the suit, but vintage Supes looks better.

                            #7: Aquaman.

Waiting on Sinestro to arrive. Hope to pick up Captain Cold this weekend, and hopefully Cheetah soon after.

Couple more additions, and my new rankings are:

                              1. The Flash
                              2. Wonder Woman
                              3. Captain Cold -- suprisingly good!
                              4. Lex Luthor
                              5. Black Manta
                              6. Green Lantern Hal Jordan
                              7. Superman
                              8. Aquaman
                              9. Sinestro -- the boots are this one's best quality

Looking forward to Black Adam in a week or so. Still need Cheetah.
