I was honestly on the fence. Originally I would have (I mean I have all of them except the GA) but now I'm kind of soured on Matty... Especially with them being lying liars about the "future of the line depends on Kyle..." foolishness. It' a sensible business spin, I know, but it irked me.

But don't listen to me - I'm just made bitter by the near missed possibility of Batgirl and Hawkman.

The problem is that the character comes from a period well after the characters familiar to the Mego period. I have only the vaguest notion of who he is. He's, essentially, the guy who replaced "my" Green Lantern, when the publisher was looking to appeal to a new audience.

The reason that's a problem now is that sales of this character will determine whether any more Retro figures get made. For that reason alone, I will get one. But it's not something I'm terribly excited about.
