Looks like there won't be enough subscribers for Club Dc over at Matty, and STRIPE doesn't look like he sold in the manner that would keep the JLU line goingComment

How much longer does Mattel have the DC liscense? Seems like they don't know how to handle it or get product to the stores. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Kyle's really a crap note to go out on.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

If Hasbro were to apply their Marvel strategy to DC, I'd be all for it.
Ironic that 10 years ago I couldn't wait for Hasbro to lose the license. They were just coasting on Batman fumes at that point and just barely releasing anything else DC-related.
As for Kyle, this doesn't bode well.

I'd much prefer if BBP/Emce just took over the superhero retro figures if Mattel intends to quit. I have to say while I do like quite a lot of Mattel's product, even the one's I can't afford or don't buy (like 12" Ghostbuster, He-man, Young Justice, etc) I just think they're horrible at disributing product. Period. I've probably whined and moaned on more MM threads than I can count, but I pretty much gave up on DCU Classics some time ago. While I can appreciate and understand the chase figures fiasco, shame on Mattel for making it nearly impossible to obtain build-a-figure parts. I have figures as far back as Grundy to a headless Giganta that are incomplete because the figures were never on the shelf. If product disappear off the shelf then by golly retailers ought to continue to put the product on the shelves for consumers. That obviously wasn't happening to a lot of Mattel's brands. I was at Wal-Mart the other day and thought I'd pick up the Apache Chief wave (despite my boycott): they had all the figures save one and that's the rub. So I didn't buy any of the figures and I'm ****ed at the on going price mark up too. Back when Toy Biz produced Marvel Legends, it was a bit of work to get all the figures and build-a-figure parts, but it wasn't the impossible task Mattel makes it out to be.
Good riddance, Mattel. I'm glad you brought the retro figures around again, but you fumbled the ball big time and I'd like to support another team now. Fingers crossed the baton goes from Mattel to Bif Bang Pow!Comment
