So who left the ring off Kyle?

Why are the Mattel Retros have these kind of issues at all anyhow?

For Hal Jordan and Sinestro we sculpted a hand with the ring.
Mattel told us that they would handle the ring for Kyle so
we didn't put one on the prototypes.

Mattel also recently confirmed they were adding the ring, so Kyle will have one.

Mattel said he would be delayed a month or so.

This is another reason why this line of toys is being terminated. there are way to many issues and all of it point to lack of care and disregard for the buyer. they have little quality control. And we wonder why these toys are being ended. Maybe if they had gottern their act together and put out a half decent product, we lovers of Mego and retro figures would be enjoying a long line of our beloved heros. All blame lay's at the feet of Matell, we fans tried our best, we brought a less then perfect toy, spent more money fixing it up, making it better (Which I for one feel we should not have been doing, since there figures run 20-25 dollars)

Given the fact that Mattel could have re-used the hands from any of the other Lantern Retros, perhaps this means that they are taking the time and care to sculpt and produce unique hands with fingerless gloves for Rayner? If so, good for Mattel for going the distance with that kind of detail rather than just a paint ap.
