Here's the Retro Wondy with the Megos and a couple of the Mattel ones for comparision.



The Retro-Action Wonder Woman is awesome. Great outfit. I think it's nicer than the silked screened jammies on the 8 inch Mego and the painted on suit of the 12 inch. I was always disappointed in the painted on tiara of the 8 inch Mego WW.

It's a very nice outfit for the price. Above Mego but not quite as nice as the collector level Barbie Wonder Woman dolls in looks and quality. Keep in mind though, those Barbie WWs cost $50 when they were released. The hair on the Retro Action figure is of collector range Barbie quality and above the lower level playline Barbies, in my opinion.

The Retro-Action female body is also excellent. The facial sculpt is great too. Pretty and Mego-like without being generic or too cute. Just an all around great figure. It's a shame there won't be more female figures in the line. Because both Wonder Woman and Cheetah turned out great.

Thank for sharing. She does stand on her own next to the others. Just picked up the 8 inch mego, but haven't stood them next to each other.

I agree it's a real shame we won't have any other super gals like the retro Wonder Woman and Cheetah. They are so awesome! Love the comparison's!

very nice pic,love those wonder-women ,i also like the retro wonder-women,and since i bought another,its hand was backward,i took a classic mego that didnt have a costume ,and she looks just fantastic in the retro costume .i have her on display .i also would have liked to see bat-girl,supergirl and other gals done .

what versions of the mattel Babs WW are those two? The one on the left looks to be the bendy armed one. Is the one on the right the last version from '09 or so?

The one on the left is the very first Wonder Woman Barbie and was released in 1999. She was considered a collector edition doll. Does not have bendy arms like the playline ones from 2003. Did not care for those bendy arms at all. The one one the right is the newest version from 2008. She is REALLY nice quality. Great looking doll.

oh yes, Now that I look at the picture a little closer I see the spangle cape from that first version.

Glad to see a pic of those two side by side. I was looking for a 12" costume for a kitbash and I am thinking the bendy armed one might do the trick. She seems to be the least popular and least expensive of the Babs. That '08 one does look good, but folks are asking a premium for those anymore.

There's two versions of the bendy arms WW. The standard "playline" version which had a really cheap ill fitting suit and a "deluxe" version which had a little bit better quality outfit and used prettier head mold.

Aside from being bow-legged, she's probably the best looking one in the lineup in my view. Of course, Wonder Woman figures are in my mind often pretty horrible, so it's a mixed win, but a victory none the less.

The retro WW came out awesome almost perfect....I'm sure any other retro female figures would have been very nice as well

I really like my RAH Wonder Woman. She fits in well w/ my Mego heroes. I was really hoping for a Batgirl or Catwoman or even Supergirl. Too bad. But customizing is always an option!

Me too! I would have loved a non pirate version of Catwoman.
