Mad Matty Monday - Mystery packs?

I just got an email promoting a big sale this coming Monday at Matty collectible. Three mystery packs. One is themed the DC Universe. I'm wondering if these are the six inch figures, the eight inch figures, or both? Anyone taking the bait? If I knew I was getting the eight inch figures I would take the dive.

I got the same e-mail. I never was a fan of the "mystery box".
Either tell me what's in the box or I'm not interested.

there are people foolish enough to blindly buy these...I can't wait for the complaints when these arrive to people who bought them.

QUESTION: If these deals are so great... why not SAY what they are and
have people know what they're buying. I like a good deal on Mattel toys,
          but this is just weird.

Q: Can the mystery packs ship to Canada?
A: I’m really sorry, but because of the additional documentation that would be required (and associated astronomical costs), we can’t ship outside the lower 48 states in the U.S., so no U.S. territories or international shipments, including Canada.*
I guess that decides thing for me. It would have been cool to get some cheap retros for customs

Most likely these DCU packs will have whatever hasn't sold over the last few years at Matty.

I could see a mystery pack with JLU stands, DCUC Alexander Luthor/Ultraman, and JLU Gotham Criminals 3pk for example. None of that stuff is worth $20 to me let alone $40 + Matty shipping.

IMO buying something sight unseen is crazy. I just can't throw that much $ down the drain hoping to get a few retros or a DCUC Color of Fear 2pk.

                No thanks Matty!

I'd expect it to be JLU and Retro-Action leftovers in the DC area. I'm sure this is a good deal for Retro fans and if nothing else, lots of people will be looking to dump those RAs if they get them in their mystery bags.

MOTU will be the hot ticket item, no doubt as they've had the most and best stuff through the year.

I'm guessing RA Peters show up in the Ghostbusters bags as well, with some left overs of the regular figs, probably Pecks.

I thought of this exact same episode when I got the email.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Yeah, they should have at least given a list of what COULD be in each themed box. That way you'd know if you at least had a chance of getting something you want.

I'm not blowing money on a gamble like this.

I was going to use this as an excuse to check out the MOTU Classics line for the first time, but they're already sold out. Considering how long the sale was originally slated to last, I figured they'd have a bit more stock.

Wow. Sold out pretty quick. Maybe there is something to this blind box concept.

                              Anyone get one?
