Doc, you've given us a new, improved Muscle Body. You have the standard, the female, and the child body.

we need a Teen Body.

there are DOZENS of teenage characters in popular culture and comics that could benefit from the smaller, Lion Rock sized body. I want to do a TON of customs, but the majority are sidekicks, legionnaires, and other younger characters. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants one, and I'm certain it would be one of your best sellers.

I know, you have to produce a certain quantity to justify expenses, and that's what this thread is for, as a pledge to help make it a reality.

I can name twenty characters off the top of my head that I would want to make should this body become available, and that's just spitballing, I'm sure if I got right down to it, the list would extend into the hundreds. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. You could start with the male (Speedy/Kid Flash/Aqualad) body, and then do the female (Wonder Girl) body when appropriate.

If you would like Doc to do the Lion Rock/Teen body (Now that pretty much all of the others are done), Sign here! Show your support, and show that there is a demand!

I'm sure he already knows it, and wouldn't be surprised if he was already working towards it, but I want him (and the community) to know how much it's wanted, and how much we would appreciate it happening!

I'm still working my through my surplus of Lion Rock bodies I picked up from someone here a while back.

A teen girl body would make my life much much easier in completing my female Teen Titans though!

I'd be down for a couple of bodies - a Tim Drake Robin custom is on my list of to dos, as is Stargirl. Also could be useful for a proper-sized Wolverine (dude's supposed to be short in the comics!).

I'm sure if a group of people stepped up and were willing to purchase say....1500 bodies upfront, they might consider paying the tooling costs and doing the factory's minimum run. 15 people 100 bodies each approx. $500 each. Shouldn't be too hard to accomplish if someone wanted to get it done. Doing a run of 3-5000 bodies with new tooling to sell between 20 and 35% of them and then sit on the rest, long term, is simply not financially beneficial to EMCE. You produce 1,000's to sell 100's. Now if a company steps up with a teen character they want to do and help absorb some costs...that's a different story. Remember when Star Trek did Uhura and we got a repro female body? Hmmmm...catching on.

There is an athletic/gymnasium type younger Skipper doll that was put out in the 90s that works well for teen girl bodies. I have made a Wonder girl and a Star Girl out of it. You can find them once in awhile on Ebay. Perfect size.

Sadly, I was one of those spoiled rotten kids who had all the original Teen Titans dolls in the early 80s and I destroyed all of them. I have no idea what my Uncle was thinking handing all of those down to me. It make me just sick.

I have recently made a custom Aqualad giving him a 8 inch height. Kind of like his final teen sized look as Aqualad before he became Tempest. It came out looking not bad. I also did a Cassie Wondergirl and a Roy Harper "Red Arrow."
No plans for Kid Flash yet but I heard of a guy who has repo parts for Kid Flash so maybe I'll just go that route.

Megocrazy, I can't commit to 100 bodies at the moment.

I can certainly guarantee that I will buy as many as I can afford, and that there are a lot of characters I want to see done on this buck.

But it would seem most companies are happy with the adult buck. BBP was happy to just use the adult buck on Hank and Dean Venture, for instance.

Few people could, that's kind of the point I was attempting to make. The money return on an investment of that proportion is lengthy to say the least if you don't have a source to move a large amount of the initial run.

While I understand that, and I am not privy to the daily ins and outs of Doc's business, you have to start somewhere.

That's why this thread exists. To gauge interest, and get as many people as possible on board with the idea.

The more people interested, the less of a gamble, and risk involved on Doc's part, and the less up front individually on everybody else's part.

There is clearly a market for his Hulk body. I personally can't think of too many characters that can utilize it, but I am sure it has dozens of applications, or it simply would not exist.

Likewise, the Teen Body can be used for every Teen Titan, Legionnaire, Young Justice, Young Avengers, Runaways, Kamandi, and that's just for starters.......
