Whats happening

Well what a shock, as I wake up on my thursday morning, its all over, but what does that mean for the rest of the 8" goodness that has been dangled our way. No more TZ, Star Trek or will the new Doctor Who be laid to rest? If the big guns didnt work ie. WGSH what hope is there for the smaller lines? Is there any financial point on behalf of these companys?

This shouldn't affect the other lines you mentioned. Mattel does not have any say in: TZ, Star Trek, Doctor Who, LOST, Universal Monsters, Venture Brothers, Dark Shadows, Night of the Living Dead and War of the Dead, (did I miss anybody?). They will continue. With more free time EMCE will likely woo other properties to the 8" format.

Thanks for posting that Megoman. I joined the forum and posted. I plan on writing both emails and letters too.

If Matty can support Ghostbusters figures, there should be no reason they can't support the Retro figures.
