I keep seeing the whole set at a TRU that I go to every so often when I am looking for some new retros. I keep looking at them, (since there is basically nothing else new to look at) but I just cannot pull the trigger to get them. I guess I was expecting (hoping) for the movie characters instead of the cartoon characters. They are what they are.

I may still pick them up later if I can trade for them for something or if I find a bargain on them at Amazon.

I do agree that “Build –a- Figure” would definitely be a turn in the right direction if anyone of the powers that be is listening.

Jim, looking at the turkey baster it occurred to me it might be the air sampler device from the film that Dr. Venkman used in Dana's apartment. This turkey baster has the squishy ball and the vacuum extender to sample air so I thin that's what it is. This makes no sense because Dana and the device didn't appear in the cartoon did they? It does give them an extra gadget to use.

I have a Slimer from the Ghostbusters Extreme (lol) line from the 90's that's in scale with them and I was going to put him with those if, you know, I could get the RA Ghostbusters.

I do believe you are correct my friend. I all but forgot about that silly looking gadget. These really are some fun looking figures. I really dig the bright colors.

I suspect the 6 inch scale Slimer would look fine with these guys as well.

I think these are the best Retro figures to come out recently. They have accessories, they look pretty good (Cept Winston) and they're colorful. It's a shame I don't really want the RGB in this format.

^ I was the same way with these guys when it comes to format and "why" exactly Mattel went with this particular line. What's funny is now I want to see more 80's Saturday morning flair. Wait a second.... what a bout Re-Mego animated Droids and Ewoks (don't hit me)?

Those I think would be perfect for the retro treatment. Okay maybe not the ewoks but Droids i think would slide in nicely.

And maybe... Turbo Teen anyone? Okay you can hit me for that one.
